‘Mit Deutsch in den Beruf’ (German for your Profession) is a new project promoted by the GOETHE-INSTITUT, the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institution operational worldwide with the core message of learning German in order to achieve new opportunities and new careers. This new initiative applies especially to recent graduates looking for new career opportunities in Germany, funded by the Foreign Office in Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and Greece.
The GOETHE-INSTITUT in Brussels, coordinator of the project, launched a design competition in order to develop an attractive, unique Corporate Identity with the key-message of expanding horizons through German language and collective international experiences. The Corporate Identity should be developed for and easily adaptable to internal and external communications such as letters, flyers, brochures, posters CD-Rom’s, etc., and accompanied by the slogan translated in each of the participant countries language.
BESIGN was invited and selected among other international studios to develop this simple and understandable logo with a concept that speaks for itself. Composed with three different basic elements working perfectly together and designed for an excellent reading in every scale and in every kind of communication support. The key element and message of the symbol is made by the assembling of a Face with a Speech Balloon and a Door. It is an emotional logo that works wonderfully in combination with the bright corporate Goethe Institut colours, appealing to its target audience, young people and people open to new ideas.
