Andrey Gordeev is a young Russian illustrator who has gained international notoriety thanks to a unique style and biting humor.

His illustrations of Russian political events for national magazines, with a vintage aesthetic, brought him public recognition, but also some pressures, as Vladimir Putin is a recurring character. Gordeev brings us a corrosive universe of a country that knows how to look to himself with intelligence and creativity.

Illustration was never a childhood dream but drawing has always been part of his life. From the caricatures of classmates' to plans of becoming an architect, it is all water under the bridge in the course of this illustrator. The activity he began three years ago and has never dropped, it pleased magazines and advertising agencies, giving him increased visibility, to the point of having already created an unmistakable style, in which his characters, humorous and stylized, are easily identifiable. And always with the Russian essence, although Gordeev himself is not able to describe it, it emanates in all illustrations.
