At first glance it is not immediately clear what the swirling spherical masses are, however, a closer look reveals hair saturated in a foamy white lather, molded and manipulated into an array of sculptural. The series was originally published as an editorial piece in Chinese beauty and fashion publication Numero Magazine. Contrary to the common conception that only finished, styled hair is attractive, Lun's photos glorify the washing and styling process in a rare change of perspective.
