The Côa Valley Art and Archaeology Museum is a project from the two portuguese architects Camilo Rebelo and Tiago Pimentel that is located in the Côa Valley in the north of Portugal. This project was selected among 41 entries in a national and international competition.
The building - a big concrete monolith with a texture that resembles the one from the local shale - is placed on the top of a hill looking as if it is a part of the local landscape.
It is possible to walk on the roof top and there are several view points so the museum visitors can enjoy the landscape that surrounds the museum.
B’CONNECTED is a platform to share ideas and expand creativity by promoting young and established authors working in different areas of visual arts.
The authors and projects are selected based on creativity and innovation by BESIGN, a design company in Lisbon with a national and international customer base.
Each project shared is always identified with its rightful author who, solely, holds the copyright for his work and has full responsibility for any opinions or ideas expressed in it.
Fill the form and send us your work on B'CONNECTED UPLOAD.
